Weather today October 21: Northern region cold 16 degrees Celsius, storm number 12 reaches its strongest intensity

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said today, October 21, the weather in the North and Thanh Hoa will be sunny during the day, cold at night and in the morning, and cold in some mountainous areas.

The lowest temperature in the North today could drop to 16 degrees Celsius.

From Nghe An to Ha Tinh, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.

From Quang Tri to Da Nang city and coastal areas from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.

The South and other regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, with heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Regarding storm number 12, today, October 21, the storm is likely to strengthen to level 11, gusting to level 13. This is also the strongest level of the storm, after which it will be invaded by cold air and gradually weaken.

Due to the storm, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong winds of level 7-8, the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 9-11, gusting to level 13. Waves are 3-5m high, the area near the storm's eye is 5-7m high, the sea is very rough.

All ships and boats in the danger zone are at risk of being affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
