Specifically, two administrative procedures have been implemented on VNeID: "Processing maternity benefits for employees who quit their jobs before giving birth or adopting a child" and "Processing the transfer of benefits to another locality for those currently receiving monthly pensions or social insurance benefits, or awaiting monthly pensions or benefits." This helps people access services more quickly and conveniently.

The implementation aims to carry out Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW, dated June 19, 2025, of the Central Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, on promoting interconnected, synchronized, rapid, and effective digital transformation to meet the requirements of reorganizing the political system's organizational structure.
To ensure effective implementation, Vietnam Social Security requires provincial-level Social Security offices to report to the Provincial People's Committee, coordinate with the Department of Health and the Department of Justice to share data according to Decision No. 69/QD-TTg; guide subordinate units to specifically assign tasks for receiving and processing applications and providing status feedback via the VNeID application according to the correct procedures; promptly report any difficulties arising during implementation to the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Social Security; and periodically, on the last day of each month, summarize the results of implementation for the month and send them to Vietnam Social Security (via the Social Security Policy Implementation Board).
The implementation of these two procedures is expected to help citizens, workers, and social insurance beneficiaries access public services quickly and conveniently, reduce paper documents, and shorten processing times.
