Information on the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

On October 23, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Van Trung chaired the conference to inform the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

The conference also thoroughly grasped the Plans to disseminate Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city; Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW dated May 13, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo (Term XII) on the construction and development of Da Nang city to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Regulation No. 178-QD/TW dated June 27, 2024 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in law-making work.

Informing delegates representing all walks of life about the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Tran Thi Man said that the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term (taking place on October 16, 17, 18) set out the directions, goals and 6 Action Programs: Strengthening propaganda, mobilization, gathering all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. Improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, practicing democracy, participating in Party and State building. Encouraging all walks of life to compete, be creative, and effectively carry out campaigns and emulation movements. Promote the role of mastery and self-management of the people, build a united, prosperous and happy residential area. Improve the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs and work with overseas Vietnamese. Continue to innovate the organizational structure, content and methods of operation; improve the capacity of the Front's staff at all levels.

The Congress consulted and elected 397 members to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure; elected 67 members to the Presidium; elected 4 members of the Presidium to the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure; elected 7 members of the Presidium to hold the position of non-professional Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

In his concluding remarks at the Conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Van Trung requested member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, wards and communes to concretize the Resolution of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front into plans and organize implementation to each facility, residential area, member, union member and people of all walks of life.

Mr. Le Van Trung also requested that member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city coordinate to widely propagate Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15, Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW and Regulation No. 178-QD/TW of the Politburo to all classes of people.
