Latest information on admission to Hanoi Medical University: First time enrolling block A

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Tung, Vice Principal of Hanoi Medical University, said that in 2025, the school will open two new majors: Medical Imaging Technology and Social Work.

Hanoi Medical University enrolls 1,910 students this year, an increase of 190 compared to last year.

For the first time, the school recruited students using the A00 group (Math, Physics, Chemistry) in addition to the 4 old groups: B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English).

The reason for adding group A00 this year, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Tung, Vice Principal of Hanoi Medical University, said is because the knowledge of the subjects in this group is suitable for the content of university studies.

For the majors of Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, and Preventive Medicine, the school still only recruits students with the B00 combination.

The school conducts direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi Medical University and based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Compared to last year, the school stopped considering the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam scores and combined the exam scores with international language certificates.
