FPT High School Can Tho admits 10th grade students based on their transcripts, 10th grade entrance exam scores organized by the Can Tho Department of Education and Training, and academic achievements.
In recent years, FPT High School Can Tho has not organized its own entrance exam. Instead, the school applies three admission methods as follows:
First is to review the transcript. Students need to meet the condition of having an average score of 55 points or higher in Math, Literature and Foreign Language in three consecutive semesters of grade 8 and grade 9.
Second, candidates can apply using their 10th grade exam scores organized by the Can Tho Departmentof Education and Training. The school requires an average score of three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language of 7.5 or higher.
Finally, the school considers admission based on academic achievements for students who have won an encouragement prize or higher in the district, county, or city-level excellent student competition in grade 9 in cultural subjects or have won a national prize or higher in arts, physical education, sports, or science and technology. FPT Can Tho High School directly admits students who have achieved 3.5 years of Excellent Student status in secondary school.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the school will enroll 600 students in grade 10. On April 23, FPT High School Can Tho organized a Scholarship Day and awarded 28 scholarships to outstanding students. 131 other candidates are waiting for their exam scores to consider scholarships from 30% to 100%. Accordingly, the opportunity to be admitted to the school is more limited than when it was first recruited.

According to the school representative, among the forms, reviewing transcripts is the optimal method for most students. Candidates can quickly know the results, reducing the pressure of reviewing or taking the entrance exam of the Can Tho Department of Education and Training. "This is also the form of ensuring the earliest ticket to grade 10," the representative affirmed.
The deadline for submitting applications using transcripts is June 30. However, in case the enrollment quota is met, the school will end all forms of enrollment earlier than expected.
FPT High School Can Tho is a boarding school in the Mekong Delta under the FPT Education organization. Over the past four years, the school has accompanied more than 1,000 students in the area. The English and cultural subjects program here is based on the program of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring the amount of knowledge needed for the high school graduation exam. The school implements an enhanced English program with 50% of the study hours with foreign teachers.
In addition, the school's Personal Development Program (PDP) is designed with a variety of activities, including soft skills training, clubs, etc. At the same time, the school prioritizes career orientation from grade 10 so that students can practice skills for their favorite profession and discover their strengths and weaknesses.
