Recall and destroy 4 batches of Thai Duong Calophyllum Oil skin care cosmetics that do not meet quality standards

On July 22, 2025, Cao Bang Department of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 3983/SYT-NV to the People's Committees of communes and wards; Cosmetic businesses and users in the province to immediately stop trading, using and recall 4 batches of Thai Duong Calophyllum Oil skin care cosmetics due to unknown origin and failure to meet volume standards.

Recall and destroy batch of Thai Duong Calophyllum Oil skin care cosmetics due to unknown origin and failure to meet quality standards.  

Specifically, recall and destroy nationwide 04 batches of Thai Duong Calophyllum Oil products, with the registration number 004405/23/CBMP-HCM on the label. The organization responsible for bringing the product to the market is Dai Hung Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Address: Room 14B03, Ruby Land Building, No. 58/4 Luy Ban Bich, Tan Thoi Hoa Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City).

Branch of Contra Production Trading Service Company Limited - production workshop (Address: No. 19, Street 165, Hamlet 5, Binh My Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City) produces, Nam Thai Duong Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Address: 51/2A Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) distributes, with batch information and packaging specifications as follows:

The four recalled product batches include: batch number 06102024, manufactured on October 1, 2024, expired on October 1, 2027, packaged in 10ml bottles; batch number 112411, manufactured on November 5, 2024, expired on November 5, 2027, packaged in 10ml bottles; batch number 250212, manufactured on February 28, 2025, expired on February 28, 2028, packaged in 10ml bottles; and batch number 250215, manufactured on February 28, 2025, expired on February 28, 2028, packaged in 30ml bottles.

The reason for the recall is that the product is of unknown origin and does not meet quality standards in terms of volume.

The Department of Health requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to notify cosmetic businesses and users in their management areas; request cosmetic businesses and users to immediately check at their establishments, return to the suppliers and report the number of recalled products mentioned above (if any). Conduct inspections and supervise units implementing this notice and report to the Department of Health according to regulations.

Coordinate with media agencies to inform cosmetic trading and usage establishments and people not to trade or use the above batches of Thai Duong Calophyllum Oil products.
