Construction should proceed urgently.
According to reports, the main contractor has mobilized a large workforce and heavy machinery. Multiple construction teams are simultaneously carrying out site leveling work; a section of the mountainous forest is being extensively cleared, stretching from the Định Hải observation tower on the summit of Hòn Hành (Isabelle Cape) to the Liên Chiểu port project area and the beginning of the access road to Lương stream.
Every day, a continuous stream of large construction vehicles enters and exits the construction site, working day and night. Construction efforts are carried out extensively, stretching across a vast coastal area. Dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, and rollers operate non-stop on the roads leading to the main project area.
In many areas, workers wearing reflective vests and safety helmets are working diligently. Each location has a technical supervisor on duty, providing guidance and checking the construction progress. Some sections located near the mountainside require the use of large rock drills, the sound of concrete blasting echoing throughout the area. Along the construction site, safety signs, lane dividers, restrooms, and rest areas for workers are neatly arranged, ensuring proper procedures and workplace safety.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tan (an excavator operator from Ha Tinh province) shared: “I’ve been working here since the project started. The construction site is always bustling, with shifts working day and night. We endure the heat because we understand that this is a big project, and if we do well, we’ll have a stable income.”
Engineer Le Bao (construction supervisor at the foot of Hai Van Pass) said: “We currently work in three shifts per day, continuously, including Saturdays and Sundays. The pressure to meet deadlines is immense, but everyone understands that this is a project of the highest scale and quality in Central Vietnam, so we are always striving our best.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, a resident of Hai Van ward, said that in just a short time since the groundbreaking ceremony, the Van Village Project has surprised many people with its scale and speed of implementation. This is the first time a project has been implemented so quickly.
In addition to accelerating the construction progress, the contractor is also paying special attention to ensuring occupational safety and environmental hygiene. Along both sides of the section leading up to Hai Van Pass, the contractor has erected corrugated iron fences to limit dust, and each road cutting point has a security guard to ensure traffic safety. Furthermore, workers and drivers are provided with full protective equipment.
According to the contractor's representative, the project is being implemented aggressively, with construction units working in shifts 24/7, including weekends, to ensure it meets the city's schedule, with hundreds of workers and engineers present on the construction site every day.
New motivation
The Van Village project, with an initial phase covering 512.2 hectares and a total investment of over 45,000 billion VND, is being developed by Vinpearl Joint Stock Company (part of Vingroup ). After years of dormancy, the project has officially been "awakened" since June 22nd and has entered a phase of intensive construction, beginning to take shape as a high-end coastal resort in northwestern Da Nang.
The fact that the Van Village project has been launched and implemented on schedule is not only a positive sign for the real estate and resort tourism market, but also contributes to creating momentum for the development of the northwestern region of the city - which is being positioned as a new growth pole for Da Nang in the coming years.
At the recent groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vingroup, stated: “We believe that developing Lang Van is not simply about building a resort destination, but also about creating a new symbol where people live in harmony with nature in a modern and sustainable environment. Upon completion, the Lang Van tourism and resort complex will be a true ‘holiday paradise’ and a place to live for residents, domestic and international tourists.”
The Lang Van Tourism and Resort Urban Complex is expected to complete and have its first components operational from 2027, contributing to activating the region's economic potential and opening up tourism, commercial, and logistics activities.
According to the Department of Construction, the Lang Van Project is eligible to raise capital for housing construction in accordance with current regulations. Specifically, the investor is allowed to raise capital for housing development at the Lang Van Project through capital contributions, investment cooperation, business cooperation, joint ventures, and partnerships with organizations and individuals as stipulated in point b, clause 1, Article 115 of the Housing Law. The amount of capital raised for housing development is approximately VND 16,850 billion (85% of the total housing construction investment). For other items, the investor shall raise capital in accordance with the law; the capital raising period extends until the completion of the project's construction investment. The Department of Construction requires the investor to be responsible for the accuracy of information and documents, and to ensure that the capital raising and use for housing development adhere to the principles stipulated in Article 116 of the Housing Law.
