Top scorer in Nghe An 10th grade entrance exam scored 29.25 points

A female student from Do Luong district won the top prize in the 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An in the 2025-2026 school year with 29.25 points.

On the afternoon of June 13, the Nghe An Departmentof Education and Training announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year.

After announcing the exam scores, in the next few days, Nghe An Department of Education and Training will announce the admission scores to schools.

This year, Nghe An province has more than 39,000 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to 69 public schools in the province. Meanwhile, the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has more than 1,700 candidates.

According to the synthesis of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, this year, the whole province had 52 English exams and 6 math exams with a score of 10; in literature, 4 candidates achieved the highest score of 9.75 points.

The top scorer in this year's 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An is Nguyen Thi Bang Tam - a student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong District - with 29.25 points (9.5 points in literature; 10 points in English and 9.75 points in math).

In 2025, candidates will take 3 exams including math, literature in 120 minutes and English in 60 minutes. There will be a written exam for math and literature, and an objective multiple choice exam for English with 40 questions.

The admission score is the total score of the 3 exams and additional points for priority and incentive candidates. Admitted candidates must not have any exam with a score of 0.

Compared to last year, the number of candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is about 4,000 less. Meanwhile, the enrollment quota for schools has not changed much compared to last year.
