On the Vietnamese side, also attending the reception were representatives of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade including: Foreign Market Development Department, Industry Department, Trade Promotion Department.
At the meeting, the Deputy Minister discussed with the other side the economic and trade cooperation situation between the two sides, and emphasized that there is still a lot of room for cooperation development between Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan, in which the complementary structure of goods without direct competition is a great advantage.
For his part, Mr. Minnikhanov said that the Republic of Tatarstan is a region rich in natural resources, with a developed economy and an attractive investment environment. This is one of the major industrial centers of the Russian Federation with many famous products such as trucks, helicopters, ships, etc. Therefore, the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan this time aims to seek and establish relations with Vietnamese partners in potential fields such as industry, high technology, etc.
Taking note of the opinions of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai said that the above-mentioned fields are all fields in which Vietnam is very interested in developing cooperation with the Russian Federation. The Deputy Minister hopes that the two sides will actively exchange cooperation information and soon organize trade delegations to concretize the potentials between the two sides into specific cooperation activities between Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai sincerely thanked Mr. Minnikhanov Rustam Nurgalievich for visiting and working with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and believed that after this exchange, the two sides will have many new cooperation directions to develop the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in general, and with the Republic of Tatarstan in particular, more strongly in the coming time.
