Along with fruit trees, tea is identified as a key crop of Trang Xa commune. |
Looking back at the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties, Trang Xa commune still maintained its development momentum with many targets achieved and exceeded the resolution. The production value of key economic sectors increased by an average of 7.17% per year; forest coverage reached more than 54%; annual budget revenue increased.
Notably, the commune has completed 17/19 new rural criteria, creating the premise to "reach the finish line" in the next term. On that foundation, the local economy develops based on the strengths of agriculture, forestry and fishery.
Trang Xa maintains an output of more than 7,800 tons of fresh tea buds each year, many products achieving OCOP certification. Along with that, the commune develops sustainable forestry, livestock, and aquaculture.
Small-scale industries and services have also gradually expanded, contributing to diversifying people's livelihoods. Along with production development, in the past 5 years, Trang Xa has built nearly 100 infrastructure projects, from schools, medical stations, cultural houses to transportation, irrigation, and lighting.
The face of the countryside has changed dramatically, the material and spiritual life of the people has improved. Along with that, the cultural and social fields have also seen many positive changes.
The whole commune currently has 8/9 schools meeting national standards, no more temporary classrooms; medical care is maintained regularly with more than 6,000 medical examinations and treatments each year. Social security and poverty reduction policies are effectively implemented, helping the poverty rate decrease by an average of 3.75% per year.
These results further strengthen people's trust in the leadership of the Party and local government. The work of building the Party and the political system is focused, with more than 90% of Party cells completing their tasks well.
Mr. Trieu Van Vi, Secretary of the Hop Nhat hamlet Party Cell, shared: We clearly feel the changes in our hometown over the past years. People trust the leadership of the Party and actively participate in movements, especially in building new rural areas.
Mr. Luong Van Nghia, a resident of Lo Gach hamlet, shared: In recent years, roads, schools, and cultural houses have been built, making people's lives much more convenient than before. However, the output of agricultural products is still difficult, and the selling prices of key fruits such as grapefruit, longan, dragon fruit, etc. are not stable. We hope to continue to receive support in connecting markets and building brands so that we can feel secure in production.
The concerns of the people are also the concerns of the Party Committee and the government in the new development stage. That shows that the journey ahead of Trang Xa needs more fundamental solutions, closely linked to practical life. In the period of 2025-2030, Trang Xa commune aims to build a clean and strong Party and political system; promote democracy and solidarity; effectively mobilize resources for socio-economic development, associated with ensuring national defense, security and improving people's lives.
The commune strives for an average economic growth rate of 7.4%/year; the economic structure shifts towards gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture, increasing industry - construction and services. By 2030, Trang Xa is determined to become a new rural commune with green and sustainable development.
To realize the goal, the locality identified key solutions as: Improving the quality of cadres and party members; promoting administrative reform; developing synchronous infrastructure; actively applying science and technology, promoting digital transformation; while preserving cultural identity and promoting the strength of national solidarity.
Trang Xa commune currently has 285 hectares of grapefruit, with an average income of 100-150 million VND/ha. |
Comrade Duong Quoc Toan affirmed: To achieve the big goals, the most important thing is to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, daring to think and dare to do, considering the people as the center and the subject of development. Only when the people truly benefit, can the goals be sustainable.
The long concrete roads, the green tea fields, the new spacious houses and the chirping of children in the school yard are vivid evidence of the daily changes in the highland. Trang Xa is continuing to write the story of development with faith, determination and aspiration to rise up.
With revolutionary tradition, and the consensus of the Party, government and people, Trang Xa will certainly reach great goals, becoming a land of green, sustainable development and rich identity in the near future...
