The above content was mentioned by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh when speaking at the ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force's traditional day and the awarding of the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the second time to the Mobile Police Command.
The Prime Minister hopes and believes that, building on the glorious and heroic traditions of 50 years of establishment and growth, with new momentum, new motivation, and the spirit of "as long as the Party exists, we exist," the riot police force in particular, and the People's Police in general, will overcome all difficulties and challenges, continue to achieve many accomplishments, and contribute even more to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
" Always fight bravely, be ready to sacrifice, stay awake so the people can sleep, stand guard so the people can enjoy themselves, taking the joy and happiness of the people as their joy and purpose in life. Build a culture, further enhance the noble image of the People's Police as courageous, humane, with a warm heart, a cool head, firm feet, clean hands, and a sense of honor because 'honor is the most sacred and precious thing!' as General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong advised ," the Prime Minister emphasized.
The head of government noted that in the coming period, the tasks of the People's Public Security force, including the riot police force, will become increasingly numerous, arduous, comprehensive, and more difficult and complex.
Therefore, the Prime Minister requested that the riot police force be truly elite, possess excellent professional skills, and be equipped with modern weapons; mobilize combined strength to effectively carry out assigned tasks; contribute to protecting independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, maintaining political stability and social order; create a peaceful, secure, and orderly environment, and uphold discipline for national development...
According to the Prime Minister, the People's Public Security force in general, and the riot police in particular, must do a good job of advising the Party and the State on strategic policies and laws regarding the development of the riot police force; on the content and methods of state management of security and order; and on the implementation of armed measures to protect national security and ensure social order and safety.
In addition, the riot police force needs to proactively grasp and accurately predict the situation, and synchronously implement measures to combat and prevent crime, ensuring security and order; skillfully and effectively handle activities involving large gatherings that disrupt security, riots, and terrorism; and absolutely avoid being caught off guard or surprised.
As requested by the Prime Minister, the riot police force must continue to innovate and improve the quality of training and professional development; regularly organize drills on handling complex situations, closely reflecting real-world scenarios both domestically and internationally; and strengthen its combat readiness.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to the Mobile Police Command.
" The Party and the State will pay attention to and invest appropriately and effectively so that the riot police force has sufficient strength to meet the requirements of protecting security and order in the short and long term, with a solid and appropriate roadmap and steps ," the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister also noted that the riot police force should do a good job in political and ideological education, effectively implement the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh for the People's Police, and promptly prevent manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the organization.
The Prime Minister requested attention to the material and spiritual well-being of officers and soldiers; ensuring their health; focusing on traditional education, showing gratitude, and repaying kindness to previous generations, policy beneficiary families, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, disadvantaged families, vulnerable people, and poor households...
