At the reception, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that Vietnam always appreciates and remembers Russia's valuable and sincere support and assistance to Vietnam in the past struggle for national liberation and reunification and in the cause of national construction, development and protection today. Vietnam always values and wishes to promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the Russian Federation for the common interests of the two peoples, for peace , cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam consistently implements a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, being a good friend and reliable partner of other countries, and a responsible member of the international community.
Prime Minister and Minister Kolokoltsev Vladimir Alexandrovich expressed his delight at the continued strengthening of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries with high trust, high-level contacts and delegation exchanges being actively implemented.
Economic and trade cooperation plays an important role, in which oil and gas and energy cooperation is an important area of cooperation, achieving encouraging results. The Russian side always pays attention to creating conditions and ensuring security for the Vietnamese community to live, work and study stably in Russia.
In the coming time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two sides increase the exchange of delegations at all levels; promote cooperation in economics, trade, investment, energy, people-to-people exchange, culture, tourism, education and training.
The Prime Minister also suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in cybersecurity, digital transformation, science and technology, and asked Russia to continue to pay attention to and facilitate the Vietnamese community in Russia and simplify visa procedures for Vietnamese citizens.
Russian Interior Minister Kolokoltsev Vladimir Alexandrovich informed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh about the successful results of his talks with General To Lam, Minister of Public Security.
Minister Kolokoltsev affirmed that Russia prioritizes and values traditional relations with Vietnam, and highly values the results of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, including cooperation between the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security. The Minister affirmed that he will strive to expand cooperation with Vietnam for the common prosperity of the people of the two countries.
