The Times of Israel has just reported that a surface-to-surface missile launched by Hezbollah towards the Israeli city of Tel Aviv was intercepted by the David's Sling air defense system.
The rocket set off sirens in Tel Aviv and several other towns in central Israel. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported that Israel was carrying out new airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern and eastern Lebanon for the third day, according to The Times of Israel.
In particular, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that since 5:00 a.m. on September 25 (local time), Israeli fighter jets have conducted attacks on several areas in southern Lebanon.
A rocket launched from southern Lebanon was intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome air defense system in northern Israel on September 24.
Lebanon's national news agency also reported that "enemy warplanes and drones" targeted several locations in the Baalbek area in the Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon after midnight, causing casualties.
Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on September 24 that Israel will continue its military campaign targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to The Jerusalem Post .
"We will continue to attack Hezbollah," Netanyahu stressed after visiting an IDF intelligence base. He made the statement more than a week after Israel stepped up its military campaign against Hezbollah.
Hezbollah, which was based in southern Lebanon before the Hamas-Israel conflict erupted in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has argued that it will only end the conflict if there is a ceasefire in Gaza.
