(To Quoc) - On the afternoon of April 19, at the Government headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with a delegation of village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and prestigious people on the occasion of the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day (April 19) - those who play the role of "keeping the fire and spreading the fire" to preserve and promote national culture.
On the afternoon of April 19, 2024, in Hanoi , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with a delegation of village elders, village chiefs, artisans and prestigious people with many contributions.
Also attending were Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, leaders of Central and local departments, ministries, branches, agencies. Especially, there were 128 typical delegates who were village elders, village chiefs, artisans and prestigious people.
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism shook hands and visited people of all ethnic groups.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the warm greetings, best wishes, warm regards, and best wishes of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and prestigious people nationwide.
The Prime Minister shared that he was very moved to have a friendly meeting with 128 typical "flames" of national solidarity - typical examples of people of all ages, positions, professions, and places, who all radiate patriotism, responsibility, enthusiasm, dynamism, and creativity, representing the will, determination, and aspiration to rise up and contribute to the cause of cultural development and national development.
The Prime Minister emphasized that culture is the quintessence, essence, and core of the nation, of society, and of each person. Culture is national, scientific, and popular. Culture must be enjoyed, motivated, and inspired by all people. Our Party and State have determined that: Culture must be placed on par with economics, politics, and society. Developing culture and building people are both the goal and the driving force of innovation. People are the subject, holding the central position in the development strategy. Building a happy, progressive family is a healthy, solid cell of society.
