In the letter, the Prime Minister expressed his emotion and pride at the impressive achievement, affirming that this is the third consecutive time that Vietnamese youth football has reached the top of the region.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this championship not only affirms the leading position of Vietnamese youth football in the region but also clearly demonstrates the bravery, talent, team spirit and ambition of the young players wearing the national jersey. Throughout the competition, the U23 Vietnam players demonstrated resilience, confidence and composure, bringing emotional moments, adding pride and strong inspiration to millions of people at home and abroad.
The Prime Minister also said that this victory is not simply a sporting achievement but also a symbol of the will to rise up and the constant efforts of the young generation of Vietnam, who are continuing the dream of bringing Vietnamese football to the continent and the world.
The Prime Minister also thanked fans nationwide for always accompanying, cheering and being a strong spiritual support for the team. He also assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant agencies to organize timely rewards and encouragement for the players, coaching staff and the entire team.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his hope that the players would continue to train, maintain their form, be united, humble and make more efforts to conquer new heights.
