Loic Desriac successfully broke away alone, winning both prize draw points along the way. Despite the teams behind such as Vinh Long, Dong Nai , and Ho Chi Minh City accelerating to chase, Loic Deriac still maintained a strong momentum, created high speed and finished alone. This impressive achievement helped him wear the yellow jersey for the racer with the least racing time and the green jersey - the sprint king.

"I would like to send a huge thank you to my wife, who has accompanied, supported, and shared everything so that I can pursue my passion and achieve the success I have today. In this race, my initial goal was to win the first prize along the way, but when I had the opportunity, I told myself to keep trying, keep trying and I am very happy to have successfully reached the finish line. I also want to thank my teammates who supported me from behind so that I could win," Loic Desriac shared.

The first time he came to Vietnam in 2012, former French U.23 player Loic Desriac had a special affection for the country and people of Vietnam. It was even more special when the young man from the homeland of the prestigious Tour de France race decided to marry a Vietnamese woman and decided to live here, considering it his second homeland. In Vietnam, Loic Desriac used to compete for Vinh Long and Dong Nai teams with the outstanding achievement of winning the yellow jersey at the 2021 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup in Dong Nai. Since 2022, Loic Desriac has arrived in the land of lotus flowers, wearing the shirt of Domesco Dong Thap Pharmacy Club. He is one of 10 foreign players participating in this year's Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup and is a candidate for the yellow jersey and red dot jersey - king of the mountain. At the age of 36, Loic Desriac still trains hard and nurtures a special passion for cycling.
