On June 19, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) held a report on the results of training the team to compete in firefighting and rescue competitions. These are the contents of preparation for the 2025 World Police and Firefighting Congress.
This year's congress is expected to have more than 8,500 people from more than 70 countries, with more than 60 competition events.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department organized training for 19 athletes to participate in 4 firefighting and rescue competitions including: Firefighter Challenge, Ultimate Firefighter, Firefighting Drill, and Running Up a 40-storey Building in Firefighting Uniform.
The team participating in the events includes 19 officers and soldiers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the Fire Prevention and Rescue University and police from units and localities across the country.
The participating team consists of 19 athletes who are carefully selected officers and soldiers.
Before that, they had a continuous training process for 32 days, including Sundays and holidays. The basic requirement of the competition is that athletes must ensure good physical fitness, including health, strength, endurance, speed and dexterity.
Therefore, intensive training courses on firefighting and rescue have aimed to improve the physical strength and techniques of firefighting and rescue for athletes.
The 2025 World Police and Fire Games will take place in Birmingham (USA) from June 27 to July 6.
