Da Nang organizes pickleball tournament to create new momentum for business community

The 2025 Da Nang Business Pickleball Tournament - DPF Cup will take place in early August 2025, gathering a large number of athletes from state-owned and private enterprises. The tournament promises to promote physical training and connect the business community.

On June 19, a press conference was held in Da Nang City to announce the 2025 Da Nang Business Pickleball Tournament - DPF Cup. The tournament was held for the first time to spread the spirit of sportsmanship in the business community, while responding to Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, along with many important political and social events of the country.

The tournament organized by the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation will officially start from August 1-3 at Trang Hoang Pickleball Court (86 Duy Tan, Da Nang City). The deadline for submitting and reviewing documents is extended until July 11.

A representative of the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation said the tournament was organized with the aim of connecting and exchanging between businesses, while creating a healthy physical playground, contributing to improving the mental and physical life of workers and building a dynamic and sustainable working environment.

This year's tournament brings together athletes who are leaders, workers, civil servants, and employees from two business sectors: state-owned and private . The competition categories include: leadership pairs (maximum 64 pairs), pairs under 40 years old and pairs over 40 years old (maximum 32 pairs per category). In addition, the "Super Cup" category promises to be an attractive highlight of the season.

According to the organizing committee, the total prize value is up to 400 million VND, not including gifts from sponsors. The excellent teams will receive cups, medals and many valuable prizes. The winning team of the "Super Cup" will receive cups and attractive gifts from sponsors.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the Da Nang business pickleball tournament will become an annual sporting event, contributing to the development of the local business community both physically and mentally.
