Over the past thirteen years, the Association has regularly organized hundreds of charity activities, given gifts, visited orphans, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities and disadvantaged families, not only in the Czech Republic but also in the homeland of Vietnam.
The Association's persistent contributions have been recognized with Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , Certificates of Merit from the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, and many other awards.
The Association’s President, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, shared: “We always try to stay true to the Association’s motto – connecting people and helping each other in times of trouble. Every gift, no matter how small, is a message of love from the community.”
Representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thanh, highly appreciated the efforts of the Association, emphasizing that volunteer activities not only have humanitarian significance but also strengthen community solidarity.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Tien, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic, affirmed: “The Vietnam-Czech Shelter Association is a place to gather love, sow seeds of volunteerism and inspire the young generation. The Union will always accompany the Association on the journey of sharing love and building a beautiful image of Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic.”
From the Czech side, Ms. Ing. Lenka Patrasová, Vice President of the Czech-Vietnamese Association, sent her congratulations and expressed her admiration for the Association's 12-year journey, emphasizing, "What you do does not come from duty, but from the heart - that is the most noble value."

She also thanked the Association members for their care and support for the elderly in the Czech-Vietnamese Association, including Dr. Iva Klinderová and the late Honorary President Marcel Winter.
She shared: "I hope that the Vietnamese-Czech Shelter will always be a place where people find peace of mind and the belief that they are not alone."
Entering 2026, the Vietnam-Czech Shelter Association aims to continue spreading love through new projects: Establishing a Senior Citizens Club in the Czech Republic, creating a living space and taking care of the spiritual life of the elderly; Continuing to support orphans, people with disabilities and families in difficult circumstances; Implementing the "Happy Home" project, supporting accommodation for lonely, low-income elderly people.
After 13 years of perseverance, the Vietnam-Czech Shelter Association has affirmed its position as a typical charity organization of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic - where love is connected, faith is shared and happiness is spread./.
