Thua Thien Hue disciplined 165 party members, 2 cases were dismissed from office

On July 1, according to the Central Inspection Commission's Electronic Information Portal, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held a conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2024, Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee have focused on leading, directing and implementing quite comprehensively the tasks of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement according to the provisions of the Party Charter.

Notably, the Inspection Committees at all levels advised the Party Committees to inspect 188 Party organizations and 1,067 Party members; supervised 106 Party organizations and 588 Party members in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations of the Party, policies and laws of the State; working regulations; maintaining internal solidarity, political qualities, ethics and lifestyle; sense of organization and discipline in Party activities...

Through inspection and supervision, it was concluded that 3 party organizations and 25 party members had committed violations and shortcomings. The staff of the Party Committees at all levels inspected 6 party members when there were signs of violations; it was concluded that 5 party members had committed violations to the extent that disciplinary action had to be taken and had been taken.

Inspection committees at all levels inspected 4 party organizations and 9 party members when there were signs of violations, concluded that violations were serious enough to require disciplinary action and disciplined 1 party organization and 4 party members; inspected 167 party organizations performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and enforcement of party discipline; inspected 5 party organizations on budget collection and expenditure and inspected 101 party organizations and 2,997 party members on collection, management and use of party fees; supervised 90 party organizations and 77 party members; resolved party discipline complaints and maintained the disciplinary form of 01 case.

Through inspection and supervision, Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels have disciplined 1 Party organization and 165 Party members (27 Party committee members) in various forms (136 reprimands, 22 warnings, 2 dismissals, 5 expulsions from the Party).

Concluding the conference, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hue - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Inspection Commission of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee - suggested that in the coming time, Inspection Commissions at all levels focus on implementing well a number of key tasks.

In particular, inspecting party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations; researching and implementing asset and income control, implementing well the collection and receipt of declarations, conducting strict inspection and supervision according to regulations; inspecting and handling responsibilities, collectives and individuals according to the conclusions of inspection and examination; strengthening regular supervision to promptly urge the implementation of review, overcoming limitations and shortcomings in issued inspection and supervision conclusions.
