The leader of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism said that the highlight of the "Wellness Tourism Weekend" is a meaningful activity for local people as well as domestic and foreign tourists when coming to the ancient capital of Hue. There will be activities introducing health-related products such as: nutritious cuisine , meditation and tea; spa services and health examination and consultation in traditional and modern forms (free for visitors and people); exhibition of health care products taking place from the afternoon of December 15 to the end of December 17 for local people and domestic and foreign tourists. In addition, there will be activities for Famtrip groups to survey and experience tourism products combined with medical treatment for tour groups inside and outside the province.
Within the framework of the program, there will be activities introducing and promoting the method of meditation and yoga, a talk show on macrobiotics - introducing healthy nutritious meals to increase immunity, a talk show and promotion on the art of tea drinking of Hue people, and a talk show on "Oriental medicine and treatment by Royal methods" hosted by artisans and experts in the industry.
Some businesses selling health care products in Thua Thien Hue province will have special promotions applied during this occasion and lasting until the end of December, in response to "Wellness Tourism Weekend".
