Promote administrative reform, improve investment environment

(NADS) – On August 5, 2019, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 2996 to establish the Nghe An Provincial Public Administration Service Center, headquartered at No. 16, Truong Thi Street, Vinh City. This is a special administrative unit under the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, under the direct direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the management of the organization, staffing and administration of the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Center is the focal point for receiving and returning results of 1,409 administrative procedures, under the management authority of 18 departments, branches and sectors under the Provincial People's Committee and 3 Central agencies organized vertically in the locality, including: Provincial Police, Provincial Social Insurance and Nghe An Electricity Company.

The Center is under the direction and guidance of competent State agencies in terms of expertise and profession, consisting of 3 departments: Reception, Administration - Synthesis, Support - Supervision - Information Technology.

People and businesses are guided to get a queue number to conveniently handle administrative procedures at the Center.

The Center regularly promotes propaganda, guidance, and support for people to carry out administrative procedures and directly answers questions with officials of Departments, branches, and sectors, creating the most favorable conditions for individuals and organizations when carrying out administrative procedures.

The staff and civil servants serving at the Center always identify awareness, responsibility, and public service ethics to best serve the people and businesses. "Consciousness, responsibility, and service attitude are the measure of the results of performing tasks and work".

In order for the Center to operate effectively and create a breakthrough in administrative procedure reform, contributing to the overall development of the province, the Provincial People's Committee always requires departments and branches to arrange sufficient staff and civil servants to work at the Center and coordinate to carry out procedures related to the fields under the responsibility of the branch.

Coordination activities of telecommunications network service providers continue to maintain and promote the effectiveness of guiding and supporting people to submit online applications at the online application submission area for people and businesses, reducing the pressure of direct reception, contributing to increasing the rate of online application submission.

The total number of applications received in 2023 is 291,314, an increase of 81,047 applications ~ an increase of 38.5% compared to the same period in 2022... The total number of applications received and processed by the Center in September 2024 is 39,277 applications. Number of applications transferred from the previous period: 6,392 applications.

Putting the Provincial Public Administration Service Center into operation is a very important and meaningful step with the goal of unifying administrative procedures; facilitating and approaching in a civilized and modern direction; integrating resources in terms of facilities and human resources, better meeting the requirements of serving people and businesses, contributing to reforming administrative procedures and improving the investment environment in Nghe An.
