SVEF 2024 marks a milestone in the forum’s journey, attracting more than 300 delegates from Switzerland, Vietnam, and European and ASEAN countries, marking a significant milestone in the journey of cooperation. Following that success, upcoming events will be held in June at the University of Zurich and November in Da Nang, bringing together leaders from government, business and academia to promote innovation, sustainable development and shared growth. The forum will focus on key areas such as technology, education , finance and manufacturing, and sign many Memoranda of Understanding to promote investment and cooperation.

SVEF has also played an important role in promoting relations with local authorities, having hosted delegations from Can Tho, Vinh Long and Cao Bang, providing opportunities to explore investment potential. In addition, the Nam Dinh province workshop was another highlight, in particular the recent visit of investors to Nam Dinh. These initiatives underscore SVEF’s commitment to increasing engagement in the region, considering this as a key focus and mission in the future.

In 2025, SVEF will focus on promoting sustainability, addressing digital transformation and workforce development. SVEF President Philip Rösler stressed, “SVEF 2025 is not just an event but a catalyst for cooperation, innovation and shared prosperity. Our vision for 2025 is to expand the influence of the forum, allowing participants to explore opportunities not only between Switzerland and Vietnam but also in the ASEAN region and beyond.”

By facilitating the right partnerships through SVEF, we ensure that Swiss companies and organizations can fully take advantage of these opportunities,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ivo Sieber, Vice President of SVEF, highlighted the synergy between Switzerland and Vietnam’s strengths, saying: “Switzerland’s expertise in innovation and sustainable development complements Vietnam’s dynamic growth.
