On the afternoon of October 16, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia received Mr. Mustapha El Ktiri, High Commissioner of the Resistance and former member of the Liberation Army of the Kingdom of Morocco, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
At the reception, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia happily welcomed the High Commissioner and members of the delegation to Vietnam, especially in the context of Hanoi people celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), opening a new era - the era of national independence and socialism in Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia sincerely thanked Mr. Mustapha El Ktiri for creating favorable conditions for the working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco of the Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam from May 29 to June 3, 2024; including exchanges with leaders of the Senate, the House of Representatives, the National Assembly and Moroccan political parties; especially attending the Ho Chi Minh Seminar at the Headquarters of the High Commission for Former Resistance War Veterans and Former Members of the Moroccan Liberation Army.
Thanking Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia for his good feelings towards the delegation, High Commissioner of the Resistance and former member of the Moroccan Liberation Army, Mustapha El Ktiri emphasized the good friendship between Vietnam and Morocco from the past to the present.
Mr. Mustapha El Ktiri expressed his hope that the two countries will promote their cooperative relationship to develop further in the coming time, especially educating the younger generation to better understand the Vietnam-Morocco relationship.
The two sides also need to exchange experiences and cooperate closely to contribute to the development of Vietnam and Morocco together with the world, while still maintaining independence and autonomy.
Recalling the profound memories of his recent visit to Morocco, especially when visiting the Vietnamese Village in Morocco, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his emotion when meeting Vietnamese people abroad and Moroccan mothers whose children participated in supporting Vietnam's just war against French colonialism.
On this occasion, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the Vietnamese people will never forget and always appreciate the support that the Moroccan people have given to the Vietnamese people during the fierce war years to liberate the nation and unify the country, as well as support Vietnam in the current national construction, participating in international and regional forums.
With a history of nearly 60 years of relations, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that the two sides will actively coordinate with each other more in various fields and enhance cooperation to promote the development of the two countries, including increasing exchanges and cooperation between veteran enterprises of the two countries./.
