Timely rescue of 9 crew members whose ship capsized in Quang Ninh

On the morning of July 22, the Traffic Police force of Water Division 1 promptly rescued 9 crew members of a fishing boat from Quang Ngai province that capsized on the Chanh River, Quang Yen ward, Quang Ninh province.

At around 9:00 a.m. on July 22, while carrying out the task of propagating and mobilizing watercraft to enter the area to avoid storm Wipha, the working group of Water Division 1 discovered that fishing boat numbered QNg 92614-TS, controlled by captain Tran Thanh Phap (born in 1983, residing in An Phu commune, Quang Ngai province), was overturned and sunk by a whirlwind on the Chanh River (Quang Yen ward, Quang Ninh province).

At the time of discovery, there were 9 crew members on board. Immediately, the working group mobilized a specialized ship with 8 officers and soldiers to urgently approach the scene, promptly supporting the entire crew to safely reach shore, and at the same time organizing the salvage of drifting assets.
