Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 12 and prolonged heavy rain, on October 21 and 22, Nam Giang commune leaders organized an inspection of storm prevention and control work in villages in the area.

The working group inspected residential areas at risk of landslides and flooding, schools, medical stations, dams and public works.

Through inspection, most villages proactively implemented response plans, counted high-risk households to be ready to evacuate when necessary. At the same time, they organized to reinforce houses, harvest crops, and reinforce key roads.
