Born into a farming family, from a young age, Mr. Ma Nguyen Phuc was familiar with farming, raising livestock, and gardening. In 1975, Mr. Phuc joined the army when he was just 18 years old. After 11 years of service, he completed his mission. As a 3/4-class disabled veteran, returning to normal life, he started working in production, looking for a way to escape poverty. After much thought, he used the little money he had saved and borrowed more from the bank to buy 6,000 m² of hilly land around his house to garden and raise honey bees. From then on, the life of disabled veteran Ma Nguyen Phuc was associated with the bees on his homeland.

In 1989, Mr. Phuc started raising 10 experimental beehives. Initially, due to lack of experience and techniques, he did not get as much honey as expected. Undaunted, Mr. Phuc spent time visiting and learning about effective honey beekeeping models, focusing on studying the natural laws and growth processes of bee colonies. Gradually, he mastered the techniques, understood the rules so that the bee colonies could produce the maximum amount of honey; transported beehives to many places according to each flower season, took the trouble to survey and find suitable beehive placement locations from Hoa An to Quang Hoa, Nguyen Binh to Bac Giang , Hung Yen provinces... Currently, Mr. Phuc has over 50 experimental beehive placement locations both inside and outside the province.

Since starting his beekeeping business over 30 years ago, his family's beekeeping model now has 250 beehives, each year yielding 5-6 tons of honey, with honey types such as lychee honey, longan honey... selling for 200,000 - 250,000 VND/liter. In addition, he and his wife have invested in planting many types of fruit trees such as longan, Vinh orange, Dien grapefruit and raising chickens to increase their income. On average, veteran Ma Nguyen Phuc's family earns more than 400 million VND/year.

Not only is he good at business, he is also an exemplary veteran, willing to share experiences, help comrades and teammates overcome difficulties, and together become rich legitimately.

Promoting the vanguard spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, regardless of the circumstances, veteran Ma Nguyen Phuc is always exemplary, a pioneer, dedicating his strength and intelligence on the socio-economic development front, striving to become rich, contributing to building his homeland more and more prosperous.
