Vietnamese brands are increasingly enhancing their position in the region.
Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025 is a famous food industry fair not only in Southeast Asia but also has expanded internationally, attracting more than 90,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries, bringing together leading F&B businesses from the Asia- Pacific region, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

This year, Thaifex has the participation of more than 3,100 companies from more than 50 countries and territories, along with more than 2,000 of the world's leading buyers. Vietnam has a record participation with more than 170 enterprises from many fields such as seafood, beverages, processed foods, fruits and agricultural products, coffee, rice, cashews...
Among them, there are prominent large enterprises such as Vinamilk, known as the most valuable food brand in the ASEAN region (according to Brand Finance, 2023) and ranked 6th globally in the dairy industry, in terms of brand value.
Notably, although compared to famous agricultural products of Vietnam, milk is not a strong product of Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asian countries in general, the appearance of Vinamilk still attracts much attention from customers and major partners.

Sharing more about the process of participating in trade promotion at this fair, Mr. Vo Trung Hieu - International Business Director, Vinamilk representative said: "Thaifex is one of the international fairs that Vinamilk has participated in since the early stages of export. At first, Vinamilk came here to promote the brand, learn about partners from Asian regions and some potential markets. At that time, most customers were interested in tropical agricultural products of Southeast Asia, while dairy products were not as popular as they are today. Thanks to the persistence in building the brand and partnerships, Vinamilk is now a familiar name at the event, and Thaifex is one of the key activities that we have recorded effectively in developing the export market over the past time".

According to Mr. Jeffrey Chung (CEO of Vinamilk's business partner company in Asia): The company has imported and distributed a variety of Vinamilk products in Taiwan for nearly 10 years. "We learned about and were impressed with Vinamilk through ThaiFex many years ago and have since learned about and had a long-term cooperation with the company. Vinamilk meets the requirements for product quality very well, meets high international standards and understands the needs and tastes of the distribution market; good service and price. In the near future, in addition to fresh milk and condensed milk products, we are also interested in Vinamilk's new products."
In addition to the goal of trade promotion, Thaifex is also a place to introduce technologies, processing solutions, and raw materials for the food and beverage industry. Vinamilk also participates in fairs to find suppliers to serve its R&D and production needs.
Export: Not just business, but also brand
In recent years, Vinamilk has invested heavily in promoting export activities, not only contributing positively to the company's revenue but also building its brand in the international market. Thereby, promoting the Vietnamese food and milk brand to the world, as Vinamilk is a brand known to many international customers as a typical representative of Vietnam, with 16 consecutive years as a National Brand.
Affirming its position as a leading milk producer, Vinamilk has launched many new products, with many breakthroughs in technology and nutritional science, achieving strict certifications such as Clean Label Project (USA), Monde Selection (Belgium). Outstanding products include Green Farm sterilized fresh milk, 9-nut milk, high-protein nut milk, 9-nut yogurt, coconut water... In addition, there are still products that have achieved National Brands that have made the company's name such as Ong Tho condensed milk and Southern Star, Probi...

Mr. Oliver Hensel (Germany) said: “I find Vinamilk products diverse and creative. The taste of fresh milk and nut milk is delicious, with a mild taste. In particular, I am impressed to know that you have advanced production technology and many prestigious and strict quality certifications from international organizations”.
According to Mr. Tran Phu Lu - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Trade Promotion Center (ITPC): "The presence of large, leading enterprises at international trade promotion fairs not only affirms the position and national brand of Vietnam, but also creates motivation, connects and promotes small and medium enterprises".

In the first quarter of 2025, net export revenue reached VND 1,620 billion, a strong growth of 24.9% over the same period, contributing to the foreign market revenue accounting for the first time for over 20% of Vinamilk's total revenue (23%). This is also the 7th consecutive quarter that Vinamilk's export revenue has grown positively, in the context of many challenges in international business. Notably, in early 2025, Vinamilk had two new export markets, bringing the total number of cumulative export markets to 65, continuing to bring Vietnam's billion-dollar brand not only further but also affirming its quality in the global dairy market.
