This afternoon, September 25, the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee worked with the working delegation of the Standing Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Da Nang on the coordination of propaganda and distribution of Party newspapers in the province in the coming time. At the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam briefly informed about the propaganda work in Quang Tri; the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines in the past time. Particularly, the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines has always been a matter of concern for the Party committees at all levels in Quang Tri, leading and directing, considering this an important political task.

In particular, the focus is on "ensuring that each Party cell, each People's Committee, People's Council of commune, ward, town, and each grassroots Youth Union has Nhan Dan newspaper (daily) and Quang Tri newspaper; each grassroots Party organization has at least one copy of Communist magazine". The purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines is carried out quite regularly in agencies, units, and localities.

The number of purchases and distributions of Quang Tri newspaper, Nhan Dan newspaper, Communist magazine and Xay Dung Dang magazine is increasing in quantity. Nhan Dan newspaper and Quang Tri newspaper still ensure the number of circulations in the province, especially Quang Tri newspaper, in the past 2 years the circulation has increased thanks to the expansion of distribution objects. Up to now, Quang Tri newspaper has distributed more than 5,200 copies per issue; Nhan Dan daily newspaper distributes 406 copies/issue; Communist magazine 203 copies/month.

In addition to the achieved results, the organization, dissemination and implementation of purchasing and reading Party newspapers and magazines at some Party committees and organizations are not adequate; the role and effect of Party newspapers and magazines in serving Party work and activities have not been well promoted.

The purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines in some Party cells, Party committees of agencies and units have not received due attention. The budget allocation for the purchase of Party newspapers and magazines by some agencies, units and Party committees has not met the requirements; the inspection and supervision of the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines is not regular; the number of purchases of Party newspapers and magazines in some localities has gradually decreased.

Phan Thai Son, Acting Head of the Standing Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Da Nang, emphasized that the Party has recently allocated a portion of its budget for localities to arrange funds to purchase Party newspapers and magazines, however, some places have not yet implemented this well.

Therefore, Nhan Dan Newspaper hopes that the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee will pay attention to leading and directing the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines, including Nhan Dan Newspaper. We hope that the provincial leaders, agencies, units and localities of the province will continue to coordinate with Nhan Dan Newspaper to strengthen the propaganda work on the socio-economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security, and Party building work in the province. In particular, Quang Tri electronic newspaper, Nhan Dan electronic newspaper, and Communist electronic magazine have attracted a significant number of readers with fast and accurate information channels, becoming a source channel for other press agencies to promptly propagate and promote in all fields of the province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang hopes that in the coming time, Nhan Dan Newspaper will have solutions to distribute Nhan Dan Newspaper (printed newspaper) faster and more promptly to readers in remote, isolated and especially disadvantaged areas of Quang Tri. Pay attention to propaganda orientation, give advice to the province on solutions to overcome limitations and difficulties in the province, contributing to promoting Quang Tri to develop more comprehensively.
