On the afternoon of March 4, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the work of February and deploy key tasks for March 2024.
Comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Also attending were comrades: Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretaries of district, city and affiliated Party Committees.
Discussing at the conference, delegates unanimously assessed that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee have focused on leadership, directed drastic and synchronous tasks and solutions and achieved many important results in all fields.
The direction of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister has been seriously implemented on organizing people to enjoy spring and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 in a joyful, healthy, safe and economical manner. Organizing many practical and meaningful activities, focusing on the grassroots level; promoting the tradition of great solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and support", paying attention to implementing social security policies, taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people, ensuring that everyone and every family has the conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet. Immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday, all levels, sectors and agencies of the province immediately deployed their work, factories and production and business units returned to normal operations with a joyful and excited atmosphere.
During the month, the Provincial Party Standing Committee gave opinions on a number of important contents, including the working program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2024; the plan and report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the implementation of a number of resolutions and directives of the Politburo ; and directed the organization and implementation of the 2024 working theme of the Provincial Party Executive Committee. Focus on leading and directing the implementation of the Resolution of the Government and the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan for 2024. At the same time, focus on directing site clearance for construction of works and projects; direct winter-spring crop production; implement national target programs in the area. Strengthen state management of the budget; manage and operate price stabilization; promote administrative reform; strictly implement regulations on practicing thrift, fighting corruption and negativity; effectively perform the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; Organize the 2024 military enlistment ceremony well; political security, social order and safety, and traffic safety are ensured.
Regarding the key tasks of March 2024, delegates proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee strengthen leadership and direction in the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels; provide guidance on the organization of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels for the 2024-2029 term in localities that must be merged or consolidated; strengthen information and propaganda work, strictly handle cases of spreading false news; strengthen management and tourism development, especially during the province's peak season; remove difficulties and obstacles in site clearance for a number of projects; speed up the progress of building a dossier to recognize Phat Diem Stone Church as a special national monument towards becoming a world heritage; attract investment in coastal alluvial areas; continue to promote the emulation movement for skillful mass mobilization...
Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan highly appreciated the results in leadership and direction of task implementation in February 2024.
Regarding the key tasks of March, in addition to the contents mentioned in the draft report, he suggested focusing on activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, survey trips, experience learning, and practical exchanges of provincial leaders in a number of provinces and cities; preparing conditions for the announcement ceremony of the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and establishing a Steering Committee to implement Resolution 11 of the Provincial Party Committee on sustainable development of the Kim Son coastal economic zone for the period 2022-2030.
Discussing and clarifying a number of recommendations of delegates at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary requested districts, cities, departments, branches and localities to focus on implementing political tasks and socio-economic development plans for 2024. The focus is on budget collection, reorganizing administrative units at commune and district levels; speeding up the progress of key projects of the province, especially the East-West route connecting with important traffic routes of the country; strengthening State management of religious affairs; striving to successfully implement the set goals, tasks and plans.
