With the theme "Promoting the heroic tradition of predecessor units, building a clean and strong Party organization; a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Corps, successfully completing all assigned tasks", the congress discussed and comprehensively evaluated the leadership results since the establishment of the 34th Corps to date, summarizing many valuable lessons and experiences in building the Corps.

Accordingly, since its establishment, the Party Committee of the 34th Corps has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense. Closely following reality, uniting, leading, implementing and completing political tasks well and building strong agencies and units. The Corps has promptly developed, adjusted, and supplemented combat readiness documents, organized training and exercises to improve mobility and combat readiness.

The Congress determined the direction, 7 main target groups with 27 specific targets; "three breakthroughs" and 13 groups of tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with the practical situation and tasks of the Corps.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong acknowledged and praised the results and achievements of the 34th Corps. The Deputy Minister of National Defense emphasized that the 34th Corps is one of the two main, mobile corps of the Ministry, with a large scale and force organization, equipped with many types of modern weapons and equipment. In the past, although there were many difficulties after the merger, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee of the 34th Corps has promoted the tradition of the previous 3rd and 4th Corps, leading and directing the comprehensive completion of the set goals and tasks, coordinating to firmly protect territorial sovereignty, maintain political security, and social order and safety in the Central Highlands and the Southeast.

For the 2025-2030 term, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong requested that the Party Committee of the 34th Corps continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the policies and directions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense, on that basis, concretize and determine leadership policies and measures that are close to the characteristics of the situation and tasks of the Corps.

The Corps must proactively grasp the area, especially key areas and borders, promptly advise and effectively handle situations, not leave gaps in leadership, direction and operation, not allow work to stagnate and not be passive or surprised. Continuously improve the Corps' strategic mobility. Closely coordinate with local units, prepare plans, plans and forces, means, protect the safety of assigned targets and be ready to participate in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, search and rescue.

The leadership builds a politically strong Corps, regularly takes care of building a politically, ideologically, organizationally, morally and personnel-strong Corps Party Committee. Continue to innovate and make breakthroughs in improving the quality of training, increase night training, mobile training, training and drills according to situations, tasks, targets, areas and combat environments. Thoroughly grasp and effectively implement breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; effectively carry out the "Digital Education for All" movement, improve the quality of management, command and operation in the digital environment and ensure good logistics and techniques for the missions.
