Police lieutenant in Ha Tinh was seriously stabbed

At around 4:00 p.m. on November 13, Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu (31 years old, Xuan Hong Commune Police Officer) was on duty at Củi Market Temple when he discovered Tran Trong Gia Bao (26 years old, resident of Xuan Hong Commune) suspected of illegally trading drugs with another person, so he approached to catch him red-handed.

However, the subject Tran Trong Gia Bao ran away and then suddenly returned, using scissors to stab Senior Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu in the neck, causing this officer to be seriously injured and lose blood.

After the incident, Lieutenant Tran Trung Hieu was taken to Vinh City General Hospital ( Nghe An ) by the authorities and local people for emergency treatment. Subject Tran Trong Gia Bao was arrested to assist with the investigation.

The case is currently under investigation.
