(QNO) - This morning, May 17, at Cho River (Tam Anh Nam Commune, Nui Thanh District), the 26th Quang Nam Radio - Television Traditional Boat Race 2023 Phu Long Cup took place.

In the traditional women's 6km event, there are 6 competing boats including Hiep Duc, Phuoc Hoa (Tam Ky), Tam Tien, Tam Hai (Nui Thanh), Dai Loc and Binh Nam (Thang Binh).

The Tam Tien (Nui Thanh) women's boat proved to be too strong for its opponents. With the cheers of thousands of spectators, right from the starting line, the Tam Tien rowers quickly rushed forward and easily reached the finish line first.

There was also no competition in the next group. The Binh Nam (Thang Binh) women's boat finished second with a fairly safe distance from the third-placed Hiep Duc boat. The next positions were Tam Hai (Nui Thanh), Dai Loc...

Meanwhile, the traditional men's 7.5km event this year was fiercely contested between racing boats from Nui Thanh district, with the surprising participation of Hiep Duc's boat. Previously, Hiep Duc also won first place in the Peace tournament.

However, in the end, the male rowers of Hiep Duc only came in second place behind the Tam Tien (Nui Thanh) boat. The third place boat was Tam Hai (Nui Thanh).
