Tien Giang: 1st Job Fair 2025

(ABO) On June 25, at the Southern Agricultural College, Tien Giang Employment Service Center organized the 1st Job Fair of 2025.

The festival attracted the attention and participation of more than 300 workers, students and demobilized soldiers. Attending were leaders of departments and branches of Tien Giang province; representatives of local leaders, Southern Agricultural College and more than 15 enterprises from many fields such as garment, food processing, labor export, logistics...

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Le Van Co, Deputy Director of Tien Giang Employment Service Center, said that the Job Festival is a practical activity, contributing to concretizing Sub-project 3 "Supporting sustainable employment" under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025. Through the festival, workers, especially those from poor households, near-poor households, newly escaped poverty households and people receiving unemployment benefits, have more opportunities to access official and reputable recruitment channels.

Workers, students and pupils visit booths, talk directly with employers and have preliminary interviews at the first Job Fair in 2025.

At the festival, job seekers were informed by the Organizing Committee about the recruitment needs of businesses, and at the same time introduced policies to support workers working domestically and exporting labor.

Within the framework of this Job Fair, representatives of a number of businesses directly spoke, shared about recruitment needs, necessary positions and committed to attractive remuneration for employees. After the ceremony, employees, students and pupils were able to visit booths, talk directly with employers and have preliminary interviews on the spot.

The first Job Fair in 2025 is not only an opportunity for workers to orient their careers, but also contributes to connecting labor supply and demand, serving the human resource development needs of Tien Giang province in the new situation.
