Dr. Philipp Rösler, born in 1973, is the first person of Asian origin to hold the position of Vice Chancellor in German history.
Dr. Philipp Rösler was born in 1973 in Vietnam. He is a German of Vietnamese origin and has held many important positions in the German government, including: Minister of Health , Minister of Economics and Technology, and Deputy Prime Minister from 2011 to 2013. He is the first person of Asian origin to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister in German history.
In addition to his political career, Dr. Rösler is also actively involved in the economic and business fields. He was the Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland.
Dr. Rösler also has a passion for aviation. He holds a private pilot's license. He is currently a consultant for the world's leading aircraft maintenance group in Switzerland.
