On the morning of January 15, in Nha Trang City, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated to receive and give gifts to the poor and policy families in Nha Trang City on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and leaders of departments, branches, and organizations of the province and Nha Trang City. Representative of the sponsor Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien, wife of Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen - Chairman of the Inter- Pacific Group attended.

At the ceremony, Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien presented a symbolic plaque worth 3 billion VND to support the province's "For the Poor" Fund. From this fund, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented 300 Tet gifts to the poor and policy families in Nha Trang City. Each gift is worth 1 million VND, including 700,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will allocate 500 gifts to Khanh Son district, Khanh Vinh district, Ninh Hoa town, each locality; Van Ninh district, Dien Khanh, Cam Lam district, Cam Ranh city, each locality 300 gifts to the poor and policy families.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan thanked the Imex Pan Pacific Group for their concern and financial support for Tet care for the poor and policy families in the province. This is a meaningful gift to help the poor and policy families in the province welcome a full, warm and joyful new year. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that local Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention and take care of fully and promptly implementing policies for the people and those in difficult circumstances in the province.
