Received over 5 billion VND to support people affected by storm

On the afternoon of September 14, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City said that as of 3:30 p.m. the same day, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city had received VND 5,178,704,358 from 1,655 organizations and individuals to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (on September 14 alone, there were 32 organizations and individuals who donated). There were a total of 2,068 transfers through the city's Social Policy Bank with the amount of VND 4,453,958,358.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, Head of the Relief Mobilization Committee of Da Nang City Le Van Trung received donations to help people in the northern provinces overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city said that the agency will continuously and promptly update the list of supporting organizations and individuals, especially statements of support via bank accounts on the media.

Previously, on September 13, the Da Nang City Party Committee organized a fundraising event to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Le District also organized a launching ceremony, calling for support for people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
