Continue to innovate the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation

On the afternoon of December 18, the National Assembly Delegation of the province held a conference to summarize the year 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Comrade Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province chaired the conference.

According to the report of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, in 2023, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation had many innovations in implementing activities, achieving many positive results. Law-making work was actively participated by National Assembly Deputies in giving comments on draft laws at National Assembly sessions and law-making conferences of National Assembly Committees; participating in giving comments with the National Assembly when deciding on important issues of the country; supreme supervision of the National Assembly.

In addition, the Delegation has paid attention to and directed the timely handling of citizens' complaints and denunciations; urged the sectors to resolve them for citizens in accordance with regulations. The work of meeting with voters has been innovated in form and improved in quality, the coordination relationship with sectors and levels has been quite close and more frequent. In 2023, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation organized for 7/7 National Assembly deputies to meet voters before and after the 5th and 6th sessions of the 15th National Assembly; coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies and units to organize meetings with voters in 10/10 districts, towns and cities in the province. After the 6th session, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation innovated the TXCT by showing video clips about the results of the session, activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation... so that voters can follow the situation in a vivid and intuitive way.

Information and propaganda work is focused on by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, in order to promptly convey the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to voters and people; promptly respond to voters about the results of the competent authorities' handling of related petitions. Social security work is focused on by the leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the National Assembly Delegates in the Delegation...

At the conference, the National Assembly deputies in the delegation highly agreed with the 2023 assessment reports and at the same time, gave their opinions to continue improving the delegation's operational efficiency.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Duong Van An requested the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to strive to further innovate its activities. Noting that it is necessary to gradually implement digital transformation while enhancing the two-way information capture to convey to voters as well as from voters to ministries and branches; and to participate in giving opinions in the National Assembly sessions. Strengthening the exchange and sharing of information between the Provincial National Assembly Deputies working at the Central level and the National Assembly Deputies working at the local level. Thereby, there will be more information and documents to effectively participate in the activities of each National Assembly Deputy, from meeting voters to participating in research and giving opinions on draft laws in group discussions as well as in the hall, participating in deciding important issues of the National Assembly.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also requested the National Assembly Delegation to determine its responsibilities when participating in resolving petitions from the people and voters. In addition to forwarding them to competent authorities for consideration and resolution, it is necessary to promptly grasp the progress of petition resolution to inform voters of the responses from competent authorities; for any inappropriate content, continue to make recommendations so that competent authorities can resolve them thoroughly, reasonably and effectively...
