Mobile Police Battalion No. 4 mobilized 40 officers and soldiers to quickly approach the seriously affected residential areas of groups 28 and 29 in Cam Duong ward.

Mobile police forces have cleared large amounts of mud, rocks and cleared clogged drains to clear traffic routes.

At the same time, the unit coordinated with local authorities to temporarily reinforce landslide sites at risk of further collapse, ensuring people's safety.

Along with that, officers and soldiers of Mobile Police Battalion No. 4 actively supported people in clearing mud, cleaning houses, and transporting property to safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Thanh, Battalion Commander of Mobile Police Battalion No. 4, said: "The work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters will continue to be deployed in the coming days. Officers and soldiers of the Battalion are determined to support people to overcome difficulties and return to normal life as quickly as possible."
The timely intervention of Mobile Police Battalion No. 4 contributed to minimizing damage after floods; promoting the pioneering role of the armed forces in helping people of Cam Duong ward overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
According to a quick report from the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Cam Duong Ward, heavy rain did not cause any human casualties, but damaged a level 4 warehouse in residential group Cong Truong 5 and caused a landslide behind a household's house in residential group 15 (old Bac Cuong Ward).

Many electrical appliances and household items of 159 households in groups 28 and 29 (old Pom Han ward), and residential area Cong Truong 5 (old Cam Duong commune) were flooded by rising water from Ngoi Duong stream, causing mud to flow into their houses.
Regarding production, about 8 hectares of newly planted rice were deeply flooded, over 70% buried in mud; water flooded fish ponds of 11 households; about 2,000 poultry were swept away.
The total damage caused by natural disasters in Cam Duong ward is estimated at about 3 billion VND. Currently, local forces are actively supporting people to overcome the consequences.
