Lionel Messi set to renew contract with Inter Miami
Lionel Messi's current contract with Inter Miami is set to expire in six months. According to Sky Sports, the two sides are in talks to extend the Argentine superstar's stay at the Chase Stadium club.
Along with plans to build a new stadium called Miami Freedom Park, Inter Miami's leadership determined that keeping Messi is a top priority.
Since joining Major League Soccer (MLS), Messi has continued to demonstrate his class as an outstanding player and has contributed significantly to the team's transformation in both expertise and brand image.
Chelsea still interested in Mohammed Kudus
Despite agreeing deals for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, Chelsea have yet to finalise their plans to overhaul their attack. According to Sky News, the London club continue to pay special attention to Mohammed Kudus, a midfielder currently playing for West Ham United.
However, the possibility of completing this deal will face many difficulties. Chelsea has spent nearly 254 million USD on new players, including Liam Delap. Therefore, continuing to invest heavily will depend largely on the financial situation and competition from rivals such as Tottenham and Newcastle.
Born in 2000, Mohammed Kudus is a Ghanaian attacking midfielder who currently plays for West Ham United. He previously played prominently for Ajax Amsterdam and is known for his dribbling, long-range shooting and versatility in many attacking positions.
In the 2024/25 Premier League season, Kudus impressed with his explosive play, contributing 5 goals and 3 assists, becoming the target of many big names such as Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle.
Bayern Munich target Luis Diaz
The Bundesliga champions are considering adding a quality winger and Liverpool's Luis Diaz is on the priority list. According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich value the Colombian's speed, dribbling and breakthrough ability.
Part of the reason why this deal could happen is because Diaz has not yet reached an agreement to extend his contract with Liverpool, while the two sides only have two years left on their contract. This is a factor that could make the Anfield team consider selling if they receive a reasonable offer.
Brentford warn Manchester United over Mbeumo deal
In an interview with Sky Sports, Brentford sporting director Phil Giles confirmed that Bryan Mbeumo would only leave the team if he received the right offer.
"There has been some interest in Mbeumo after a successful season, but I understand he would be happy to stay," Giles said. "Mbeumo will only leave if the right offer comes along."
Manchester United are said to be the most eager team for this deal. However, the latest offer is 79 million USD, still not reaching the minimum expectation of 82.5 million USD that Brentford has set.
This is considered a warning from the London capital team to the "Red Devils", in the context that the Old Trafford team has only had one new player, Matheus Cunha, since the beginning of the transfer period.
Last season, Bryan Mbeumo scored 20 goals for Brentford, all in the Premier League. Among players in the league, only Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Alexander Isak (Newcastle) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City) scored more.

Atalanta prepare to recruit Kamaldeen Sulemana
Midfielder Kamaldeen Sulemana has completed the first part of his medical in Bergamo, paving the way for his official move to Atalanta. The remaining formalities are expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
Atalanta agreed to pay Southampton a transfer fee of approximately $23.2 million, including $18.9 million up front and $4.3 million in performance-related fees. In addition, Southampton will receive 15% of the value if Atalanta transfers Sulemana in the future.
Born in 2002, Kamaldeen Sulemana is a fast winger from Ghana who played for Rennes (France) before moving to Southampton to play in the Championship.
Despite his young age, Sulemana possesses good personal technique and formidable acceleration, often described as a "drill bit" on the wing. Atalanta's recruitment of him is considered a new step in this player's career in Europe.
Ollie Watkins is seen as a replacement for Hojlund at Manchester United
According to The Athletic, Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has been put on the list of potential targets by Manchester United if Rasmus Hojlund leaves Old Trafford this transfer window. However, at present, all moves are only at the initial level of interest, with no official offer having been sent.
Watkins has made a name for himself in recent seasons and continues to impress. The 29-year-old has scored 75 goals in 184 Premier League appearances, with 16 goals and eight assists in the 2024–25 season alone.
