As of July 28, more than 48 billion VND has been donated to support Nghe An people affected by floods.

As of 4:30 p.m. on July 28, through the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee, 60,000 organizations and individuals inside and outside the province have contributed to support people affected by storm No. 3 (Wipha) with a total amount of more than 48 billion VND.

Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha) and the storm's circulation, from July 21 to 25, Nghe An province, especially the communes in the West, were severely affected by floods and landslides, causing loss of life and property, traffic works, irrigation works, schools, and medical facilities were washed away or damaged; many communes and villages were isolated.

On July 27, heavy rain continued to occur in some communes in Western Nghe An, causing landslides and traffic jams on many routes.

In order to promptly support people affected by floods, in recent days, all levels and sectors in the province have focused their forces, closely following each locality and each affected area to make efforts to overcome the situation along with emergency relief activities.

Many organizations, businesses, and volunteer groups, with the spirit of solidarity and "love others as you love yourself", proactively organize many relief activities, ensuring that people in flooded areas have food and clothing in times of urgent need.

For the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, immediately after receiving 5 tons of support goods from businesses (rice, instant noodles, drinking water, milk, medicine, clothes and other necessities), it promptly transported them to help the people of My Ly and Nhon Mai communes.

As of 4:30 p.m. on July 28, 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee had received a total of more than 48 billion VND in support; of which 70 organizations and individuals came to directly present support at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and more than 60,000 organizations and individuals inside and outside the province sent donations via accounts.

The mobilized money has been and is being promptly distributed by the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee to support affected people to stabilize their lives. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An Province continues to call on organizations and individuals to join hands to share and help flood victims overcome difficulties./.
