Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union launched a movement of young cadres volunteering to go to the grassroots.

The event was attended by 250 union members, young civil servants and public employees of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union and the Youth Union of Provincial Party agencies.

The Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union launched a movement for young cadres, civil servants and public employees to volunteer to work at the grassroots level.

The movement was launched in the context that after the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, many localities still lacked cadres with sufficient qualifications, capacity and experience to meet the requirements of the tasks. This is a solution that both supports additional resources for the grassroots and creates conditions for young cadres to practice, challenge and mature from practice.

According to the plan, young civil servants and public employees will be reinforced in two forms: secondment for a maximum period of 3 years or indefinite transfer, with policies and regimes guaranteed according to Decree No. 178/2024 of the Government . The time to receive registration wishes will be from August 6 to 7, 2025, before the Provincial Youth Union compiles the list and sends it to the Department of Home Affairs to submit to the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union affirmed that this is not only a volunteer activity but also a long-term strategy, preparing a source of quality successor cadres for the grassroots level, where the support of young forces is in great need. The movement clearly demonstrates the spirit of "wherever there is a need, there are young people, wherever there is difficulty, there are young people", continuing the tradition of shock and volunteerism of Thai Nguyen youth through many generations.
