“Quintessence of Thang Long”: Hanoi completes preparations for 80th anniversary exhibition

On the afternoon of August 25, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen inspected the preparations for the "Quintessence of Thang Long" Exhibition (Dong Anh, Hanoi). The exhibition is a key event showcasing the economic and social achievements of the capital, taking place from August 28 to September 5.

The Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space Exhibition 2025 will be held at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). This is one of the key spaces of the "National Achievements" Exhibition, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

During the inspection on the afternoon of August 25, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, reviewed the final preparations. Reporting at the meeting, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Vo Nguyen Phong said that the Department had selected reputable construction units, accelerated progress and ensured quality.

With a scale of 15,000 m², Hanoi's exhibition space is arranged into 5 main areas. The areas include: displaying typical products, OCOP products, traditional craft villages; artisan performance space; key technology and industrial product area; culinary space; and miniatures and sideline art activities.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen requested the Department of Industry and Trade to closely coordinate with other units. He suggested creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and artisans to participate, while adding key industrial products and craft villages to introduce the capital's economic achievements.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen also emphasized: "The Organizing Committee needs to reasonably arrange check-in points and arrange tour guides so that visitors can clearly feel the value of the exhibition that they want to convey." According to him, the introduction content needs to highlight the overall picture of the achievements of the capital and the country after 80 years, arousing national pride.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen also requested the Organizing Committee to pay attention to aesthetic and harmonious design factors. Ensuring security, order, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental sanitation must be given top priority during the event.
