Tourists learn about Tay Ninh through 3D projection screen
Unprecedented scale
The exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is held under the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", taking place from August 28 to September 5, 2025, on an unprecedented national scale. The total area is nearly 260,000m², displaying many artifacts and images introducing the achievements of 34 provinces and cities; 28 ministries and branches; 94 private enterprises, 12 state-owned enterprises.
This is a special event co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to summarize the 80-year development of the country since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence (September 2, 1945). This is an event of special significance in the series of events to celebrate and honor history, introducing the outstanding achievements of the Party, State and People throughout the process of building, protecting and developing the country. At the same time, it affirms the leadership role of the Party, the management and administration of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of building and developing the country, contributing to promoting the strength of great national unity.
Vietnamese land and people are recreated at the Exhibition
The exhibition is not only a practical activity towards the country's great celebration but also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its position in the international arena, inspiring the younger generation with national pride. Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh said: The exhibition is not only a place to admire artifacts and documents but also a space to display the country's outstanding achievements over the past 80 years. Through that, each citizen, especially the younger generation, can better understand historical moments, the value of independence and freedom as well as understand more deeply the aspirations, will and intelligence of Vietnam.
The highlight of the exhibition is the combination of heroic tradition and the breath of the times. In addition, each province, city, ministry and sector has its own space, reflecting the length of history and outstanding achievements today. The booths apply new technologies such as touch screens, mapping, multimedia projection, etc. to create visual and vivid effects.
The outdoor area has exhibition areas of the Army, Police, Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong City; specialty food areas of 34 provinces and cities participating in the exhibition,... serving people and tourists.
Mr. Hai Binh, a resident of Hanoi, said: “Through the exhibition, I see that Vietnam has truly changed. Overcoming the pain and loss caused by war, today, Vietnam is increasingly developing, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. As a young person, I am deeply grateful for what the Fatherland and the children of the Vietnamese people have sacrificed to gain independence and freedom for the nation.”

Participating in the exhibition with a booth designed in a modern, intimate and culturally rich Southern style, Tay Ninh introduced to the public unique cultural values: the art of amateur music, typical vegetarian cuisine, Ba Den Mountain festival and images of economic development, green tourism and industrialization in the new era.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, a Don ca tai tu artist from the provincial Cultural and Artistic Center, said: “Before going to Hanoi, we had about 20 rehearsals of songs about the land and people of Tay Ninh and Hanoi. We hope to bring to the audience and tourists, especially the young, sweet and profound melodies, so that they can understand and love the art of Don ca tai tu more. Thereby, contributing to preserving and promoting the unique value of traditional art that has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.”
Also at the exhibition, in addition to live performances at the booth, the audience can also interact and learn about traditional musical instruments such as the zither, the zither, the co, familiar but equally attractive melodies, etc. Thereby, recreating the atmosphere of the Southern garden right in the heart of the capital, contributing to promoting the image of a multi-ethnic, friendly, integrated and sustainably developing Tay Ninh.
In addition, handicraft products, typical products of the province such as shrimp salt, rice paper, custard apple, banana,... are also beautifully displayed, creating a highlight to attract a large number of visitors. Mr. Dang Khanh Duy - General Director of Tan Nhien Company Limited, said: "Tan Nhien is proud to be one of the 5-star OCOP products of Tay Ninh province displayed and introduced at the exhibition. Through the exhibition, we hope to contribute to promoting the image of Tay Ninh - a province rich in tradition, rich in identity but also full of dynamism and creativity, at the same time opening up great opportunities for businesses to find partners, expand markets, improve competitiveness, and spread the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
Each product displayed at the exhibition is carefully prepared by the units.
Through participating in the exhibition, not only does it introduce a dynamic, creative Tay Ninh, ready to enter a new era, but it also clearly demonstrates the orientation of preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage, thereby affirming its position as one of the localities rich in cultural identity and creativity in the Southeast region.
According to the representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province, participating in this exhibition is an opportunity to connect, learn and promote the image of Tay Ninh to the whole country, while demonstrating the spirit of "solidarity - creativity - development" of the locality when Tay Ninh enters the strategic development stage after merging with Long An, forming a new dynamic region, opening up a strong connection space.
The exhibition “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” is an opportunity for people across the country to look back on the past journey, express gratitude to previous generations, and at the same time, gain more motivation to firmly step forward in the new journey - the journey of building a rich, happy and sustainable Vietnam./.
