Through trade promotion activities, businesses have been able to get closer to consumers.
Programs connecting supply and demand are booming.
In recent times, the province's trade promotion activities have been strongly and comprehensively implemented by the Department of Industry and Trade, meeting the requirements of expanding domestic markets and promoting exports. These activities are organized with a focus on developing foreign trade and export orientation, diversifying in form, and aligning with the practical needs of businesses.
According to Mr. Tran Dang Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, for the domestic market, the Department has coordinated and participated in many regional and national-scale events such as the Southeast Region Industry and Trade Fair, the OCOP product fairs of various provinces, and supply-demand connection programs in Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Da Nang, etc. Through these events, hundreds of businesses have been supported in promoting their products and connecting with distribution systems, supermarkets, large retailers, and consumption partners. Many typical rural industrial products, OCOP products, and local specialties have gained better access to consumers and buyers.
In the international market, the Department of Industry and Trade actively participates in and supports businesses in connecting with each other at major trade fairs and exhibitions in Ho Chi Minh City – a hub for Vietnam's international trade promotion activities, such as Hortex, Vietnam Foodexpo, Vietnam Sourcing, FoodTech, the Food Industry Exhibition, and the Industrial Machinery and Equipment Exhibition… At the same time, the province participates in the Vietnam-Cambodia border trade events and the Vietnam-China International Trade Fair in Lao Cai , as well as trade fairs in Laos, to expand trade and seek export opportunities.
Through trade promotion events, hundreds of specialty products such as sun-dried rice paper, chili salt, Ba Den custard apple, rubber, and OCOP products were displayed, attracting a large number of traders, distributors, and consumers. Many businesses considered this a practical opportunity to introduce their products, expand distribution channels, and seek long-term partners. Large supermarkets and shopping centers in the Southeast region also actively participated, signing cooperation agreements and purchasing agricultural products from farmers and cooperatives in the province.
Ms. Huynh Tuyet Mai, owner of Ba Buoi Stir-fried Shrimp Paste Production Facility, said: "Through trade promotion and product consumption connection events organized by the province, Ba Buoi stir-fried shrimp paste has been brought closer to consumers; creating opportunities for businesses, production facilities, and customers in connecting supply and demand, and promoting product consumption."

Tan Nhien Co., Ltd.'s ultra-thin rice paper is the first product from the province to receive a 5-star national rating from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. According to Mr. Dang Khanh Duy, General Director of Tan Nhien Co., Ltd., by proactively improving product quality and actively participating in domestic and international trade promotion activities, Tan Nhien's ultra-thin rice paper has reached many major markets, including South Korea, Taiwan (China), the United States, Australia, Japan, and Thailand.
Notably, Tan Nhien Co., Ltd. recently had two specialties from Tay Ninh – ultra-thin rice paper that doesn't require soaking in water and Tay Ninh salt sauce – selected by the Organizing Committee to be displayed at the New Product Expo, the area for innovative and internationally promising products at PLMA 2025 in Chicago, USA. This is a prominent space at the fair, bringing together new, creative, and distinctive products that represent future consumer trends in the global market.
Furthermore, to enhance the effectiveness of trade promotion, the province has implemented numerous programs to support training and skill development in e-commerce, brand building, quality standards, and international certification registration. Training courses on digital transformation in production and business, building digital storefronts on e-commerce platforms, livestreaming sales, etc., help businesses and cooperatives adapt well to new trends.
“Trade promotion activities in the past period have yielded many positive results: expanding the network of partners, supporting businesses in signing many cooperation agreements, accessing large distribution systems, and enhancing the image and brand of the province's products. This is an important foundation that helps Tay Ninh businesses improve their competitiveness and gradually participate more deeply in domestic and international supply chains,” Mr. Tran Dang Tien emphasized.

Recognizing that the last months of the year are always the most vibrant period for the market, and also a golden time for businesses to expand their distribution systems, introduce new products, and boost sales, the province is accelerating the implementation of many trade promotion activities, contributing to connecting supply and demand, promoting distinctive products, and supporting businesses in their recovery and development.
Mr. Tran Dang Tien stated: For the domestic market, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to coordinate with localities to organize trade fairs, markets, and supply-demand connection events such as the Binh Dong Regional Agricultural Products Market, the Supply-Demand Connection Program between Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities in 2025, etc. Through these events, businesses can introduce their distinctive products, OCOP products, typical rural industries, and key products to large distribution systems, supermarkets, shopping malls, and wholesale markets. The Department of Industry and Trade also strengthens its connection with e-commerce platforms to support businesses in selling their products during the peak season at the end of the year.
For the international market, the Department of Industry and Trade will support businesses in participating in major specialized exhibitions in Ho Chi Minh City such as Vietnam Expo 2025, the Spring Fair, etc., while also preparing businesses for international trade fairs in 2026 such as CAEXPO, CIIE, and events connecting Vietnam - Cambodia, Vietnam - Laos, etc. The main goal is to support businesses in accessing international buyers and expanding exports.
With concerted efforts from management agencies, businesses, and the business community, Tay Ninh aims not only to boost domestic consumption but also to expand into inter-regional markets and target exports. Year-end trade promotion activities not only help sell goods but also provide an opportunity for businesses to strengthen their brands, enhance competitiveness, and create momentum for the new year.
Tay Ninh is affirming its determination to support businesses and build a modern, transparent, and efficient commercial environment. The vibrancy of the year-end market shows positive signs of recovery, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the province.
