Ninh Binh province participates in the International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival 2025

Taking place from November 14 to 18 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center, Festival 2025 opens 350 booths to display, perform and create typical products of Hanoi, provinces in the country and international friends. The theme "Preservation - Development - Integration" is expressed through the spaces: Preservation, Development, International Integration, OCOP and cuisine.

Although imbued with the spirit of a craft village festival, this year’s event is also embellished by the “Flower Festival”, creating a unique artistic synthesis. The vibrant colors of flowers combined with the talented hands of artisans from all over the world create a picture that is both traditional and contemporary, spreading the message: culture and creativity, connecting to spread, integrating to develop.

International Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival 2025 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center - Hanoi with the participation of over 30 countries around the world and 34 provinces and cities nationwide. Main activities taking place at the festival: Craft village exhibition and display space (Conservation space; Development space; New design space, Digital transformation space, Net-Zero craft village space, International integration space, OCOP culinary experience space and regional specialties ...); International workshop sharing experiences of international craft villages; Cultural exchange program of Vietnamese craft villages with international craft villages; Honoring artisans.

Ninh Binh province delegation attended the Festival with 8 booths and 4 excellent artisans from typical traditional craft villages such as: Van Lam traditional embroidery village, Van Diem traditional bronze casting village, Sinh Duoc village, Co Chat silk weaving village, Van Chan water puppetry village, etc.

The exhibition booth of Ninh Binh province attracts a large number of visitors thanks to its scientific and unique layout and information system introducing the production process, the story of the craft and the unique value of each product. Many typical artisans are invited to directly demonstrate the crafting techniques on the spot, creating impressive highlights and helping visitors better understand the sophistication of traditional handicrafts.

Through the activities at the Festival, we hope to promote trade connection, experience exchange, and search for potential partners; at the same time, introduce product development strategies in traditional crafts and craft villages and orient the preservation and promotion of craft villages in a sustainable direction, associated with tourism development .
