Quang Ninh province's military service health check-up was implemented from November 26 to December 26, 2025. Accordingly, the whole province has more than 9,400 citizens eligible for military service health check-up; to date, more than 1,000 citizens have volunteered to join the army.

Comrade Vu Huy Tung, Commander of the Military Command of Dong Mai Ward, Quang Ninh Province, said: "Through the medical examination on November 26, the whole ward had 116 citizens participating in the medical examination for military service, 64 citizens were qualified for military service; of which, 39 citizens wrote applications to volunteer to go to defend the Fatherland. The quality of youth this year is higher than in previous years."

To improve the quality of selection and calling of citizens to join the army in 2026, the Provincial Military Command has proactively coordinated with the Department of Health to advise the Provincial People's Committee to establish 12 regional military service health examination councils and develop a military service health examination plan in 2026 suitable to the characteristics of the area and examination targets of each area.

From early morning, many citizens of Duong Hoa commune participated in the military service health check-up at Mong Cai Regional General Hospital, branch 2.

Based on the requirements and tasks of military recruitment when implementing the two-level local government, the Provincial Military Command has advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to supplement and strengthen the Commanders of the Regional Defense Command (PTKV) into the members of the Provincial Military Service Council to direct, guide and assist localities in the area in charge of military recruitment work.

After the first day of military service health check, the military service health check was assessed seriously, following the correct procedure, ensuring fairness, objectivity and compliance with the law.
