(Baothanhhoa.vn) - According to the Civil Defense Command of Thanh Hoa province, to proactively prevent and combat natural disasters, especially during the rainy and stormy season, Thanh Hoa province has completed the Command Committee from the province to the commune, assigning specific tasks to each member.

Accordingly, the whole province is ready to mobilize more than 186,500 people to respond to incidents. Of which, the provincial force has a plan to mobilize forces with 20,387 people participating (3,329 provincial military forces, 17,058 provincial police). The provincial Military Command has signed a contract with the unit of the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 4 stationed in the area with a number of 1,950 comrades.

In addition, the province also prepared reserve materials and equipment, including: nearly 45,000m3 ^of rubble, more than 9,300m3 ^of sand, more than 1 million sacks, 197,000m2 of ^tarpaulin , hundreds of thousands of bamboo poles, steel baskets... to serve the reinforcement of embankments and key works.

In addition, 98 rescue vehicles and ambulances, nearly 700 ships, boats, canoes, more than 4,400 passenger cars, 2,200 trucks, 730 bulldozers and excavators, along with more than 25,000 life jackets and 15,000 life buoys were mobilized to participate in storm prevention and control work.
