Organizing a gift giving program for poor and disadvantaged households in Long Binh commune

(DTO) On August 13, Major General Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Director of Dong Thap Provincial Police, together with the sponsor, Phuoc Thinh Saigon High-Quality General Clinic, and other benefactors, organized a gift-giving program for poor and disadvantaged households in Long Binh commune, Dong Thap province.

At the program, the organizers presented 50 gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well (each gift worth 800,000 VND), with a total cost of 40 million VND. Next, they provided free medical examination, medicine and gifts to 100 people in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 1 million VND).

Also at the program, philanthropist Tran Thi Tuyet Mai, residing in Long Binh commune, also presented 100 gifts including necessities such as rice, noodles, and soy sauce to 100 poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the commune (each gift worth 400,000 VND).
