Organizing off-road racing on a reservoir in Nha Trang

On the evening of May 22, Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - editor-in-chief of Khanh Hoa newspaper, head of the organizing committee of the Victory Challenge 2025 sports and off-road racing tournament - said that she had agreed on the proposal to organize the tournament on Dac Loc reservoir in Vinh Phuong commune, Nha Trang city.

The Victory Challenge 2025 sports and off-road racing tournament will take place from June 18 to 22. Besides Dac Loc Lake, the tournament will also be held on the beach of Pham Van Dong Street, Nha Trang City.

According to the organizers, the vehicles will compete on available trails, shallow dirt roads and naturally available swamps at the Dac Loc reservoir area.

At the same time, no racetracks will be built around the safety corridor of the reservoir and dam surface, thus ensuring safety and environmental issues when the tournament takes place.

Victory Challenge is the first large-scale off-road and sports car racing tournament held in Khanh Hoa, aiming to create a playground for off-road sports car racing enthusiasts, aiming to turn this racing sport into a community sport that everyone can experience.

The tournament is expected to attract about 100 racing teams nationwide with 5 competition categories including original SUV category, basic pickup category, upgraded category, camping vehicle category, and extended - professional category.

This is a sports activity within the framework of the Nha Trang Sea Culture and Tourism Festival 2025, and is also an activity towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).
